 Setting up iStats for iPhone
I'm totally lost with setting up iStats with my iphone. The instructions are too vague.... Bookmark what URL? How do I pull up the stats ON my iphone? I transfered the file via FTP, etc. Now what?!?

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
I was able to figure this out... You need to go to yourdomain.com/iphone on your iphone to access this. (Lightspeed support...you need to add this to the instructions) Also, you can leave the Root Directory in the iStats setup empty (also not in the instructions)
Hope this helps y'all!

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
I put iphone folder in my ftp and went to mysite.com/iphone, and it is asking me for a pin. I have tried everything from my password to my ftp to my site address and nothing is working. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
Never mind I did not realize from the instructions that I had to go into lightspeed and set it up that way

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
i am having trouble with this as well. i've set it up and tried many variables (passive/active etc), but everytime i enter a pin on my phone the login window simply refreshes.
and when i try to update stats from within lightspeed i get the error "internal java exception, check logs." but there is no info in the logs!
any help?

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
For me it was working... the first week. Now, the stats aren't updated, but I realise that I don't really needs it so I didn't try to solve the problem...

I am having the same "internal java exception" error after updating to 2.8.2. Any ideas?

We're having this same "Internal Java Exception" problem too.

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
I reinstalled the latest server update with all clients logged out and restarted. Everything worked well after that.

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
Anyone have a good guide on how to actually get this to work? Seems like ever "guide' xsilva makes, they always have some ambigious portion of it that makes it near impossible to do without consulting their support. I'm getting that FTP Server refused connection error and I have it set to use the same settings as the webstore.
Running Lightspeed 2.8.8 & webstore 2.0

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
Same issue as Nick I uploaded the iPhone directory, checked the "same as Webstore" option in istats config, and I'm getting the FTP refused server connection. Instructions at http://www.xsilva.com/iphone-setup.php say: Quote: If you are using the LightSpeed Web Store, just connect to the store and drag the iPhone folder into the store (xlsws_php) directory. but there isn't an xlsws_php directory in the store root. Anyone have luck? I'm using webstore 2.0.2 and LS 2.2.8.1

Re: Setting up iStats for iPhone
Looks like this is a hold-over from previous versions of LS.
But since the new webstore config doesn't work the same as iStats it doesn't work now.
Can Xsilva confirm this?
I got iStats working by hand entering my ftp info.
