Hi everyone,

We use lightspeed in 3 x stores and we updated one of them to 2.8.2 from 2.8.1 last night... we are now unable to print from the reporting part of the program... as we do all are end of day reports from here (+ the normal end of day report) we are kind of stuck..

When you run..e.g. a sales-general report, then click print, choose your printer, then click print... it just hangs on the print box that comes up telling your which page it is printing.... normally this box pops up and down so fast you don't even see it.....

I have tried many printers and computers, plus remote connections, and it happens on all of them, leading me to the idea it's the program/setup? anyone else had the problem/fixed it?

Can't believe more pp have not reported the same issue. There is another thread with about 4 others with this problem.

I updated to 2.8.2 on Saturday and have had the problem ever since. If I generate a report, it will not print and I must restart LS. Also, I noticed that if the report has multiple pages, you can only use the first page or last page button to navigate through the report.

Sometimes the suggestion to print to a pdf works but 95% it doesn't. I have tried 'preview' first, but often I never get the preview. I have tried print first and I get the dialog box to name the file and location, but it gets stuck after that.

I have tried different reports (sales and timesheets), but it doesn't discriminate.

Like others I can print the EOD report and receipts/cc.

2.83 was just released. The notes mentioned fixing issues with printing reports.

Just wanted to chime in and say that 2.8.3 fixes things for me as well. Hooray for the quick fix
