Post OTR Server Configuration
Recently installed OTR for Lightspeed and I am able to launch the application, and all the licensing is working. Although it did crash several times last night but thats another issue. My question for now is this: Each time you launch the application you have to enter the server ip address and database name. Is it possible to have that information configured so I don't have to enter the information every time?

Thanks in advance
Ron Myers

Hi Ron,

This is a huge issue for me as I do this a lot. The best that I can suggest is to choose to save the database information with the file so that at least you'll never have to do it for the same file more than once.

Also remember that OTR needs to be updated for compatibility with LS3. I can't remember which one you're on but I'm stuck and behind on many reports until they release this new version.

The 3.1 update lists support for OTR version 5.2. Does that mean it works now?

It will suppoer OTR 5.2 when OTR 5.2 is released... which to the best of my knowledge has not happened at the time of this writing.

This is one of the many daily annoyances with OTR. As kristin said, the best you can do is to check the box to save the info with the file. Even that often doesn't work, though. And as far as I can tell OTR doesn't even try to save any passwords to the keychain, despite having a checkbox for it.
