Post Multiple currency pricing
Hey has anyone had any luck or work arounds for how to get different prices for visitors from different countries.

For example our company is based out of Norway, but if a UK visitor arrives they should be able to see the price in pounds, without VAT, etc.

Really wish there was more international functionality :(

This is an interesting question but what is more interesting to me is the problems that this would cause if you could do it.

For example, when you charge their credit card, you'd have to charge it in their currency which would require that you have multiple merchant accounts with your payment processor.

Ironically, Xsilva themselves will charge you in either Canadian or US dollars depending on who your are. Of course, they don't use the Web Store but it would be interesting to know how they handle this internally within LightSpeed.

Also, what happens when exchange rates change? Would you go and manually update all the prices in your database?

The best I could offer would be some custom programming in your web store that displays an alternate price... an approximate price based on a standard exchange rate that would give the customer an idea of what the price will be when it gets charged to their credit card.

I just want to answer your question if what happens when exchange rates change. If actions of the government caused a shortage of domestic currency, then the government fixed the exchange rate. But I still don't know what to do if exchange rates change.
